“Greetings friends! I am the EAL manager and the instructor/facilitator that you will interact with during North Star EAL programs. If you don’t know me, I have a varied background working with horses, people, and providing equine-assisted services. Some of my experiences include training and showing horses, offering riding lessons through 4-H, and managing a therapeutic-riding barn for several years while coordinating their programs, volunteers, equines, and events. I also have a degree in professional communications. Through all my experiences, I have learned a few key things: I love horses, I love people, I love Jesus, and I love to teach. Furthermore, I have a heart for those who are hurting and a passion for building relationships and being a part of people’s stories. Having experienced firsthand the healing that God brings through horses, I am passionate about sharing that hope with every person who walks through the barn doors. I am also pursuing EAL facilitation credentials through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH, Intl) which will bring significant value to the services we provide.”
